Do you accommodate Late Check-out?
Yes, based upon room availability. For information about a later time for check-out, please contact our Front Desk the morning of departure.
Is there a fee for Late Check-out?
Yes. If you want to depart from your room after 12:00 noon, please contact the Front Desk for the applicable fee on that particular date.
Do you accommodate Early Check-In? Is there a fee?
Yes, based on room availability. If you arrive at the hotel any time prior to the guaranteed check-in time of 4pm and your suite is available, our front desk is able to check you in without any additional costs. If you would like to guarantee an early check-in, you can only do so by purchasing an additional night (the night before arrival). At that point, the suite will be held for you from the previous night
How old must I be to check-in?
At the Grand Beach Hotel Surfside, the minimum check-in age is 21.
Is my identification or passport required at check in?
Yes, we do require photo identification for all reservations.
What credit cards do you accept at the Grand Beach Hotel Surfside? May I pay for my room in cash?
The Grand Beach Hotel Surfside is happy to honor the following credit cards:
- American Express
- Diners/Carte Blanche
Cash may be presented to pay for room and tax; however, a valid credit card is required to secure the booking and also at the time of check-in. Guests without a credit/debit card will NOT be allowed to check-in to the property.
No personal checks will be accepted. All Cash paying guests will need to present a valid credit card upon check-in.
What is the charge for incidentals/deposit?
There is no charge for incidentals. At check-in, Grand Beach Hotel Surfside will authorize an amount equal to room & tax (unless pre-paid) and estimated incidentals for the full length of the stay. The Grand Beach Hotel Surfside will authorize the credit card provided for $100 per night at the point of check-in for incidentals. Upon check-out, this authorization is released automatically. It usually takes between 3 to 5 business days to return to your account, depending on your banking institution.

Do you charge a Daily Resort Fee?
A Daily Resort Fee will be charged to your room in the Oceanfront Hotel and West Hotel. Your Resort Fee includes the daily use of two (2) beach chairs, one (1) umbrella, access to wireless internet in guest-rooms and public areas, access to the fitness center and recreational amenities offered at our 5 pools and 6 hot-tubs. The Resort Fee also includes participation in a daily activity-class (e.g. Yoga, Pilates or similar), free local and toll-free calls, in-room coffee and free access to the business center computers to surf the internet or print boarding passes.
What is your cancellation policy?
Reservations can be cancelled at no charge to the guest if done so by 6pm two days before arrival (unless a Rate plan requiring immediate and full payment is selected, which does not allow for cancellations). Should a guest fail to cancel by this time, a late cancellation fee equal to the amount of the first night room and tax will apply. If a guest fails to check-in, the hotel will charge the guest a ‘no-show charge’ equal to the amount of the first night room and tax. Rate Plans requiring immediate payment at the time of reservation, do not allow cancellations and no refunds will be given in the event of early departures, no show, or cancellation.

Does your hotel provide parking?
We provide convenient 24-hour valet parking for overnight guests and non-guest visitors. Fees apply (fees are subject to change without notice). Please confirm directly with the hotel upon arrival. Parking is on a first-come-first-served basis and our parking lot accommodates sedans (regular cars) and SUVs. Parking for Minivans, or motorcoaches is not available.
What amenities are in your guest rooms?
The Grand Beach Hotel Surfside features 340 luxurious and oversized guest suites in two buildings - each equipped with special amenities to help make your stay more comfortable. Most of our suite amenities include: two luxurious marble bathrooms, balcony with water or sunset views, workstation and IPOD cradle, safe, coffee maker, and iron/ironing board. Do you offer additional beds – “rollaways”?
Grand Beach Hotel Surfside does not offer “roll-away beds” in any of their rooms. Most suites are furnished with a queen-size sleeper sofa
Do you offer cribs – and what is the charge?
A limited number of cribs is available free of charge on a first-come-first served basis at our hotel. Please specify the need for a crib in the comment section when making a reservation and our Housekeeping department will attempt to honor the request. Please keep in mind that during busy time-periods, the demand for cribs may exceed the supply
Do you offer ADA rooms?
Yes, our property does feature accessible rooms. Please note this request on your reservation.
Do you offer connecting rooms?
The Grand Beach Hotel Surfside offers connecting rooms. To guarantee connecting suites, guests should book one of our Family Suites.
Is there a fee to use the Fitness Center?
Access to the Fitness Center is included with your Resort Fee at no additional charge. Guests agree to indemnify and hold Grand Beach Hotel Surfside harmless against any claims, law-suits, costs or expenses resulting from use of or presence in the hotel’s Fitness Center
Is there high speed internet or Wi-Fi available at the hotel?
Wired and wireless connections are available in your room and the common areas of the hotel and are included with your Resort Fee for an unlimited number of devices. We also offer a Business Center, located on the Lobby level, equipped with computers, internet access, and a print station.
What recreational amenities does the Grand Beach Hotel Surfside offer?
The Grand Beach Hotel Surfside features an extraordinary assortment of recreational amenities for our esteemed guests. Where do we start? We offer two beachfront pools and hot tubs, a rooftop Skypool (adults only) and hot tub, a fitness center with panoramic sunset and ocean views, and a wellness center/ spa on property. All of these amenities are included in your Daily Resort Fee. Golf, tennis, deep sea fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, and more are conveniently located nearby. Hotel guests are able to use the pools, water-slides at the nearby Surfside Community Center on a complimentary basis by showing their room-key at the entrance. Hotel guest are also invited to use the courts at the Surfside Tennis Center.
Are beach chairs and umbrellas provided?
The use of two (2) beach chairs and one (1) umbrella is included in the daily resort fee - applicable for guests in both the Oceanfront Hotel and West Hotel. Towels are provided at no additional cost.
Do you have a restaurant in the hotel?
Our French-inspired restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a menu featuring excellent cuisine at an affordable price.
Do you offer room service?
Yes. Room service is offered from 7am - 11pm seven days per week in the Grand Beach Hotel Oceanfront Hotel only - the Grand Beach Hotel West does not offer room service
Do you have onsite laundry service?
The Grand Beach Hotel Surfside provides fast, efficient overnight laundry and dry cleaning services. Laundry bags and order forms are located in the guest room closet.
Does the hotel offer smoking/non-smoking rooms and/or areas?
The Grand Beach Hotel Surfside does offer smoking rooms on one floor only. We can not guarantee a room on the smoking floor. Rooms are assigned based on availability on the day of arrival. Smoking is not allowed in non-smoking rooms or on their balconies. There is a $300 fee assessed for smoking in non-smoking rooms. There are designated outdoor areas available for smoking.
Are pets allowed at the Grand Beach Hotel Surfside?
The Grand Beach Hotel Surfside is a pet-friendly resort. Cats and dogs, up to 50 lbs, are allowed. There is a $100 refundable deposit required at the time of check-in. We also charge a $50 fee for each pet per night.
Does the Grand Beach Hotel Surfside have a Spa?
The Grand Beach Hotel Surfside will have a Wellness Center with four treatments rooms on site. Spa services will include massages, hair and nail treatments. Guests may contact the Wellness Center or our Concierge to schedule spa services. At this time, no opening date for the Wellness Center has been set.
Is there transportation available to/from the airport?
The Grand Beach Hotel Surfside does not offer a private shuttle. Guests are able to get a cab from Miami and Ft Lauderdale Airports for a flat rate of approximately $32 and $80 respectively. The following shuttles have also been used by our guests:

I ordered items online to be shipped to your property. May I receive packages there?
There is no charge for guests to receive carrier envelopes or standard letters. There is one time handling and storage fee, detailed below and depending on the box size, for any boxes or packages larger than a carrier envelope and weighing upto forty (40) pounds.
$4 - Boxes 10 x 7 x 3 inches or larger
$8 - Boxes 17x13x13 inches or larger
$12 - Boxes 18x18x16 inches or larger
If guests expect shipments heavier than forty (40) pounds per box, they should make special arrangements by getting in touch with our Concierge Desk. If a package is sent to us, but remains unclaimed for fourteen (14) days it will be returned to sended. We request that any shipments do not arrive earlier than two (2) days before arrival, due to limited storage space.
Can I order an amenity for a special occasion - cake, champagne?

Does your hotel offer Currency Exchange?
International Currency Exchange Services are not available - however, an ATM is located inside the hotel and international guests can withdraw US Dollars with their bank-cards. A number of banks is also located within easy walking distance
